Let Us Introduce Ourselves

Your hosts, Ron & Denise Lavoie, both grew up in Connecticut where they also raised their family.

They recently moved to Glens Falls, a community filled with history, warmth and charm. Before getting

married and raising their family of three boys, Ron served 4 years in the Coast Guard where he learned

all aspects of cooking.

He was stationed at The Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT where he served all of the cadets. He
then moved on to working as a chef in a few major restaurants in the CT area and now uses the skills he
has learned to cook you the most delicious breakfast during your stay at The Manor Inn.

Denise went to a local Community College majoring in business and accounting before devoting many
years to raising their boys. She then managed the office of a busy construction company until they
moved to Glens Falls. She also loves to bake and has a knack for creating a warm cozy feeling to
make you feel right at home.

Ron and Denise love to entertain and are very much enjoying their new adventure and dream of owning a bed and breakfast.
They also enjoy camping, gardening and are big NASCAR fans. They also have a dog (Bandit) who you will fall in love with.
